Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant tournament

The rising star boasts considerable social media presence

Kai Trump can count on numerous prominent backers when she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she revealed.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He essentially advised me to play and relax," she added.

"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

Yet she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.

"And he's a superior person. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in the sport at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation brings golf to new audiences, especially among the next generation.

The social media influencer boasts a massive following and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness company.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
