Eulogies Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Remain Under Wraps.

Over a fortnight after the tragic deaths of celebrated film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community are still paying respects to the duo.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Posting on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he just recently felt ready to post publicly about his deep grief.

"Sufficient time has elapsed that I can now express my sorrow into words," posted Elwes, noting that his first meeting with Reiner created an instant bond. "Once we started passing more hours together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded archival material from the film, commenting that he doesn't recollect "any day without joy".

"This story is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the perfect person to helm it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "To say that they were a incredible duo would be an understatement. My heart still aches every time I recall you." He concluded with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Colleague and Comrade

In a different essay, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he grasped the human predicament of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official decided to prevent the publication of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the local authorities.

A court order put a security hold on the investigation to prohibit the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" associated with the ongoing investigation.

The Medical Examiner's office had already determined their deaths were the outcome of homicide, with a record listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Response and Criticism

After the tragedy, public individuals shared different responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, providing controversial claims that were broadly criticized by many commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his perspective to the detractors recently. Speaking on his program, Rogan described the statements as "shocking" and remarked they demonstrated a troubling absence of compassion.

Rogan finished by proposing that an aide should have intervened when the impulse to comment on the passing was made.
