Rob Edwards and O'Neil are two of the early candidates under consideration to replace the former manager as head coach of Wolves.

The previous coach was sacked on Sunday following the team's 10-match winless beginning to the Premier League season.

Furthermore Edwards and O'Neil - each of whom have previous associations to the club - are among the options to be evaluated by the Wolves leadership.
